AI, Automation Are Transforming Pharmacies into Proactive Care Hubs

Aungst similarly notes that the pharmacist retains ultimate legal and professional accountability for all AI-generated outputs, making careful quality assessment an essential component of modern practice.2,4

Additionally, national health care experts highlight that a fragmented regulatory landscape requires pharmacy leaders to establish clear governance protocols, data privacy safeguards, and phased rollouts in low-risk scenarios before expanding into higher-risk clinical decision support.
