Would pharmacy be able to handle SARS outbreak in U.S.?
Since Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) was first recognized in China in November, 2002, it has infected more than 8,400 people and killed more than 900, mostly in Asia. Healthcare experts say, however, that the CDC?s recently issued guidelines about SARS preparedness and prevention do not adequately prepare the U.S. for a possible outbreak.
