Walgreens to open first Hawaii store
Walgreens opens first Hawaii store with local product partners.

Walgreens is joining with more than 50 local product partners to supply its first Hawaii drugstore, set to open Nov. 1 in Honolulu. The chain is using local partners for product categories that include candy, local snacks, grocery items, automotive needs, souvenirs, and greeting cards. Walgreens plans to open three additional stores in Hawaii during the second half of 2008 and eventually to operate 25 to 30 stores across the state.
