Rite Aid names Coster VP

Previously, Coster was VP of policy and programs at NACDS, where he was responsible for policy issues relating to federal healthcare programs. At Rite Aid, Coster will be responsible for lobbying Congress and regulatory agencies on issues that will impact Rite Aid's business.

Rite Aid has named John Coster, Ph.D., as its new VP of federal affairs and public policy. Previously, Coster was VP of policy and programs at NACDS, where he was responsible for policy issues relating to federal healthcare programs. At Rite Aid, Coster will be responsible for lobbying Congress and regulatory agencies on issues that will impact Rite Aid's business. "John's extensive experience working with retail pharmacy and state and national issues surrounding healthcare programs coupled with his public policy and pharmacy background will be a great asset to Rite Aid and our government affairs division," Mark de Bruin, executive VP of pharmacy for Rite Aid, remarked.
