The Total Pharmacy® Solutions Summit is set to host its inaugural in-person event this winter on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM at The National Conference Center in East Windsor, New Jersey. With the final summit of 2025 focusing on “Advocacy in Motion,” supervisors, staff members, pharmacists, owners, executives, and managers from the surrounding area will receive key, in-person insights on developments in independent pharmacy.

From sessions on ways for improving patient interactions to continuing education sessions on specific areas of pharmacy practice, this December’s summit is designed to empower pharmacists to place the focus of their work on patients and not only improve their outcomes but also their quality of life.

“Explore how a clinically driven Pharmacy Management System like PharmacyOne can help pharmacy owners elevate patient care while improving operational efficiency and profitability,” stated the session description titled “Liberty Software: Pharmacy Partner in Creating Efficiency, Profitability, and Positive Patient Outcomes,” available to summit registrants. “Attendees will learn how customizable workflows, integrated technologies, and streamlined training support the delivery of high-impact clinical services such as eCare plans, medication synchronization, and patient apps.”

Featuring the likes of pharmacy industry leaders from Liberty Software, Outcomes, and more, each session helps pharmacy industry attendees tackle patient-related challenges in their day-to-day workflow and understand opportunities to improve patients’ pharmacy experiences—whether it be in spending, adherence, dosing, convenience, or anywhere else.

Other Featured Sessions Include:

Dae Lee, PharmD, Esq, CPBS, and Lucas Morgan, Esq, shareholders with Buchanan, Ingersoll and Rooney PC, are slated to host the December live event’s keynote session, titled “Meeting at the Crossroads: The Role and Impact of PBMs and BOPs on Pharmacists.”

Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) have risen as one of the more difficult industry stakeholders that independent pharmacies must facilitate relationships with. Simultaneously, states’ boards of pharmacy (BOPs) are also available nationwide for independent pharmacies to use as a resource for navigating industry challenges.

In their keynote session, Lee and Morgan will help attendees navigate the complex relationships in the pharmacy community needed to ensure their businesses are successful. Through close collaboration with pharmacies from across the country, Lee and Morgan will be able to provide transparent insights into how these relationships can best be handled.

The event will also highlight a variety of pharmacy technologies and necessary platforms that can both improve patients’ outcomes and access as well as pharmacies’ sustainability and profitability.

Luke Gunderson, director of sales at Real Value Rx, will host a session titled “Flexible Dosing wins for Pharmacy and Patient.”

“At Real Value Rx, we go beyond competitive pricing—we deliver a wide range of items to help your business thrive,” states the session description. “Incorporating flexible dosing medications with therapeutic benefits offers a unique advantage for your patients.”

General sessions at this winter’s event will also spotlight industry-revolutionizing platforms such as Outcomes’ PillCount and Rx30 as well as EQUIPP Copilot from PQS by Innovacer. Learn how some of the sharpest minds in independent pharmacy are collaborating on the best ways to improve patients’ medication journeys and truly make the pharmacy a health care destination—more so than it already has in recent history.

Continuing Education Sessions

The solutions summit’s very first in-person event will also feature a total of 4 continuing education (CE) sessions.

Kicking off this winter’s live event, Kimberly Burns, JD, RPh, professor at LECOM School of Pharmacy, will host the very first session of the day at 8:30 AM titled “Discipline Decoded: Navigating Pharmacy Law and Disciplinary Cases.” In another exploration of the legal aspects of pharmacy practice, Burns will explore key legal insights, real-world cases, and practical guidance to stay compliant and uphold professional integrity in independent pharmacy.

In the CE conversations toward the end of the day, Mary Katherine Cheely, PharmD, BCPS, CLS, FNLA, executive director of ambulatory pharmacy services at Grady Health System, and Mary Barna Bridgeman, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, clinical professor at Rutgers University, will be exploring specific disease states among patients. With Cheely exploring the management of hyperlipidemia and Bridgeman discussing gout care, each session is set to end the day with insightful presentations that impact patient populations across the country.

“The Total Pharmacy® Solutions Summit is an essential live CE event designed for today’s pharmacy professionals,” concluded the event description. “This interactive experience will focus on improving patient access and education, while also delivering expert-led strategies and actionable business insights tailored to the realities of community and independent pharmacy.”
