Public support exists for access to experimental drugs
Nine out of 10 people participating in an on-line U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia when it ruled in August that terminally ill patients have "no right" to access experimental drugs. Only 1% believe more liberal access to drugs under study would increase costs and liability for pharmaceutical companies, and 2% said they were not sure how to vote on the issue.
