PBM fined $10.5 million for distributing HGH

Express Scripts' Distribution Services fined $10.5 million for providing human growth hormone to athletes, entertainers.

Specialty Distribution Services, a subsidiary of Express Scripts, agreed last month to pay a $10.5 million penalty and cooperate with authorities in an investigation over the illegal distribution of human growth hormone (HGH). Under the terms of the agreement, Express Scripts will not face prosecution for three years if it fully complies with terms of the agreement. According to a statement from the
