Valeant Pharmaceuticals offers zelaCARD rebate program to Parkinson's disease patients.

To help patients pay for its Parkinson's disease drug Zelapar (selegiline HCl), Valeant Pharmaceuticals is offering a zelaCARD rebate program. Any patient, regardless of his drug coverage status, can use the card, which is presented to the pharmacist at the time a prescription for the once-daily orally disintegrating tablets is filled. Patients can receive up to a $40 rebate per prescription, or up to a $480 value per year, said the Aliso Viejo, Calif., firm. For more information, call Valeant's customer service department at 1-(800) 556-1937 or visit
