New guide urges treating hypertension in CKD patients
The National Kidney Foundation recently released the first guidelines regarding the management of hypertension in those with CKD. The guidelines, which were developed by the Foundation?s Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (K/DOQI), were published as a supplement to the May 2004 issue of the American Journal of Kidney Diseases.
