New drugs for lupus call for a greater role for R.Ph.s
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an autoimmune condition that is under recognized and under diagnosed, yet has a significant impact on the lives of millions of patients, particularly women. Pharmacists have an important role to play in helping patients to manage their SLE, and their role will likely become more significant.
