Humana Inc. announced that it will allow its commercial and Medicare members in Pratt, Kiowa, and Ottawa counties in Kansas to obtain early refills of their prescriptions in the wake of the devastating tornado that struck the region on May 4. Because of the severity of the damage to homes, businesses, and property in the area, Humana has temporarily lifted the normal 30-day restriction on early prescription refills for its Medicare and commercial health plan members in those counties.
