Company claims mailing back used syringes is cost effective.

Looking for a way to dispose of your used syringes by mail? If so, you might be interested in Sharps Compliance Corp.'s new 18-gallon mail-back system. Until now, the Houston firm had a program for collecting small quantities of medical waste from health practitioners. Now it has expanded the program, called the Medical Professional Sharps Disposal By Mail System (Model no. 11800), to collect larger amounts of disposables. The company claims that mailing back used syringes is more cost effective than having them picked up, which is the traditional route now.
