Google Glass available to public on April 15

For one day only, Google will make its Goggle Glass computer available for sales to any adult in the United States. Up until now, the technology has not been available to the general public.

Starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, consumers can purchase the $1,500 face-mounted computers. Free frames or sunglasses will be included while supplies last.

Google Glass allows users to access the Internet by voice or by using a tiny touch pad on its side. It also includes a small camera that can record video or take photos.

Barry Bryant, owner of Barney's Pharmacy in Augusta, Ga., tried out the new technology in his pharmacy, He and his clinical pharmacy educator, Jake Galdo, believe it can be a very useful tool for pharmacy.
