Generic levothyroxine sodium could soon be available again to patients in Florida. A judge has Mylan had filed a petition in August 2007 challenging the decision. The Pittsburgh firm pointed out that its levothyroxine is the only generic considered therapeutically equivalent to four brand versions, including Synthroid, Levoxyl, Levothroid, and Unithroid.
