FDA makes drug safety podcasts available
Healthcare professionals can now access emerging drug safety information via podcasts, according to the FDA.

Healthcare professionals can now access emerging drug safety information via podcasts, according to the FDA. The agency launched the new broadcast vehicle in February and has, so far, made several safety announcements utilizing the technology. The podcast recordings can be downloaded to personal computers and audio players and will be available in addition to the traditional print- and Web-based public health advisories already in use by the FDA.
