Community pharmacy groups advocate Medicaid issues to lawmakers
More than 70 pharmacy executives and representatives visited with members of Congress.

More than 70 pharmacy executives and representatives from pharmacy companies across the country visited yesterday with members of Congress to advocate on behalf of community pharmacy. The effort is a collaboration among NACDS, the Food Marketing Institute, and NCPA to address Medicaid access issues, including average manufacturer price (AMP) and implementation of a new tamper-proof prescription paper requirement for Medicaid Rxs.
