CMS updates mailings guide
CMS has released an updated guide to mailings sent to Medicare Part D beneficiaries by prescription drug plans, CMS, or the Social Security Administration.
CMS has updated its guide for mailings to beneficiaries. The guide provides an overview and timing for mailings beneficiaries may receive and the actions they should take when they receive the mailing. CMS recommends that pharmacists use the guide to complement their own outreach to beneficiaries, or if patients have questions regarding the letter they receive from Medicare or Social Security Administration. The guide will be updated regularly and includes links to sample mailings.
