Asthma guidelines aim to improve maternal, fetal care
The National Asthma Education and Prevention Program (NAEPP) recently published updated guidelines for the treatment of pregnant women with asthma. These new guidelines, the first update since 1993, recognize the importance of appropriate treatment to control symptoms and prevent exacerbations.
