Aemcolo for Noninvasive Escheria coli Infection

Aemcolo (rifamycin, Cosmo Pharmaceuticals)
Indications: treatment of travelers’ diarrhea caused by noninvasive strains of Escherichia coli in adults.
Dosage: Two 388mg tablets taken orally, twice daily for three days.
Contraindications: known hypersensitivity to rifamycin, any of the other rifamycin class antimicrobial agents (e.g. rifaximin), or any of the components in AEMCOLO
