Three professors at Harvard University will host an eight-week course covering the controversies regarding prescription drugs, to begin on March 26th.
Topics to be covered in the course include an overview, scope, and history of the FDA; drug development and approval; pricing; and regulatory debates regarding dietary supplements, specialty medications, and “right to try” laws.
By the end of the eight weeks, participants will have explored six modules: overview and history of the FDA, drug development and approval, drug pricing in the United States, marketing strategies, post-approval evaluation, and emering medical technology.
